Sneak Peek

Good Evening ladies I hope you are all well this evening. I have been busy making a little box to show you tonight using a new image from Doodle palace which is due to be released tommorrow. I was hoping to get this to you earlier but this little box really had it in for me tonight haha. I hope you like it. I am entering this in to the crafty angels challenge this week which is to use a colour that represents you, I have always been very girly and love dressing up so pink is mine.

You can buy this image HERE  I coloured her with copic markers E00,E21, R32, R20 and R00.
I am going to fill this box with chocolates to give to our friends who have just had a baby, although you can't really see it in this image, there is a tag on the top of the box that says for mummy and daddy.
I made this box using my score pal.

Have a great evening ladies. I am off to bed now. Need to get in to the habit of making my cards in advance and posting during the day i think. Just been soooo busy recently.

Entry to Mo's digital pencil

Good Evening ladies. I am off to bed now as I have to be up early for work so I will make this post quick. No sketch for this card just a simple layout as the papers are quite bright and the image is a detailed one so I didn't want too much other bits detracting from it.

Sorry for the quality of the image it is dark so the camera set the flash, you never get a good picture with the flash so I will try and get a better one tommorrow.   Edit  - I have now added a better picture I hope
I am entering this in to Mo's challenge which is 'Wood' I have wooden tracks in my image

You can buy this image over at Mo's shop along with many other gorgoeus images, probably best to prepare your bank balance :) This one is called ' the engineer'

Sir Stampalot challenge

Good Evening all I hope you are well. I have had a busy weekend of cards, it started Friday when (even after double checking that it was not the case a few days earlier) my brother called me in a panic saying he needed his save the dates for his wedding that evening as he needed to take them somewhere the following day. So when I got home from work I set out to make these save the dates for him. I am really pleased with how they turned out, my printer is not so happy - it didn't like printing on the vellum.
I am entering this in to the Sir Stampalot challenged where the theme is 'Moving', they do say you can interprit this any way you want, I am seeing it as my brother and his fiancee are moving forward in their relationship and getting married, they also brought the wedding a year forward - this involved another panicked call to me asking if I would have enough time to do the save the dates, invites, table names, table plans fabour boxes........... lol of course I said yes.

Here is the save the date I made 25 of these in the end and they have asked for another 6 - think i will make 1 just incase - I have permission from my brother and his fiancee to show you this

The information is printed on vellum and the snow scene shows through

Hope you like it :) Just got to make the pocket fold invitations now- that is going to wait until May though

Here is a link to Sir Stampalot - they are moving to a new premesis in Peterborough soon whoop - more room for craft stuff

If you would like more information on the challenge and blog hop you can go here

Can any one reccommend a really good paper trimmer

Good Afternoon ladies (and gents if there are any about) I was wondering if I could call on my blogland friends for some advice. I wanted to buy a new trimmer as the one I had been using was old and needed replacing. I whent to Hobbycraft and bought one of theirs but it was faulty so I took it back and upgraded to the £28.99 version which had a corner cutter. However this seems to be cutting my edges wonky (no it isn't just me i promise :) I am holding the paper against one of the lines on the trimmer and cutting it but when i take it out the edge is not straight.

I am wondering if anyone can reccomend a good A4 paper trimmer that doesn't cost the earth. I live in the UK so anything this side of the pond would be great. x

DewDrop Craftz - new image

Good Evening all, this is my second post for today so please scroll down to see my earlier one :)

I made this card using one of the cute new images from DewDrop Craftz, you can find it HERE there are loads of other ones like this too which I hope to show you over the next week or so.
I followed a sketch on Totally Stampelicious which is shown below.

I used a pre folded card which was sent to me by Steph from Stamping and sharing after I bought some stamps off her on Ebay, so I am afraid I have no idea who it is by. The long red strips of card were run through my cuttlebug then mounted on to dark green cardstock. The raffia lace was bought at Quixotic cards, I am addicted to this stuff I really like the effect it gives, I actually cut this strip in half to make it fit the sixe of the card.

My image is coloured with copics, mounted on to both red and green card and then stuck on 3d foam pads to give the card a bit of dimension. I also added some little gems to the pile of treasure.
I am entering this card in to the following challenges.

Incy Wincy - Put your hat on - my little bee is wearing a hat :)

Valentines

Good Evening ladies, I hope you are all well this evening (or afternoon if you are in America or Canada). I have just finished making this card for my Husband for valentines day, I intend on making a few small ones for him to hide around the house and then a larger one. This card is 4"x4" I made an envelope for it using my score pal.

The image is a new on by Doodle palace, you can buy it HERE isn't he just the cutest. I already have an order for another card using this image, my sister wants me to make on for her boyfriend :)

I didn't use a sketch for this one it is difficult when the cards are so small as you can't get too much detail on them with the image. I ran the red card through my cuttlebug to get the background design, I love this one. The image is coloured with my copic markers, I have just run out of E35 not good as this is my main base brown colour, looks like I need to make another visit to the online world of craft shops.
I bought the Raffia lace at Quixotic Paperie, they have super fast delivery so I will be back there as soon to get some more in different colours I just love this stuff.

Another new baby card using the a greeting farm digi

Hello ladies hope you are all well this evening, I have another new baby card to show you using the toby digi image from the greeting farm, how cute is he - well she for my card lol.

I followed a sketch on Stamp with fun for this card which is shown below;

And here is what I did with it

I used papers that my parents got me for christmas they are Martha stewart ones i think double sided.. I also used papers from my stash (the darker ones)
I coloured the image with my Copi markers but used a different technique that I saw online i think it works well - the aim was to make her look fluffy and i think it worked.

The ribbon is from my stash - I usually buy the plain stuff on ebay from Malaysia as it is so cheap and you get loads of it. The little gems are from papermania.

I hope you like -

DewDrop Craftz DT card

HI Ladies, this is my second post for today so please don't forget to scroll down to see my other card :)
This is my DT card for DewDrop Craftz, I made this card using the sketch shown below from 'Get Sketchy'

This fortnights theme... 'It's all about the Love'

This can be interpreted in any way you see fit.. great for Valentines Day - or just for saying it to a friend who you want to show you care..

The rules for the challenge are on the right of the blog.. and you can make any creation for the challenge - it doesn't have to be a card.

Remember there are incentives if you mention where you were challenged from :)

Here is the card I made

I used the Tokyo Girl image I love love love her she is so cool, she doesnt actually have fishnets on in the digi image but I added them on, i think they look cool. I have also added a little heart shaped charm and have used the colour of love - red - as my main colour.
The papers are by basic gray but really sorry I can't remember which pack they are from. I coloured my image using copics, here is a close up

I can see me using this one for many more birthday cards in the future.
I hope you will join the DewDrop craftz challenge this week it would be great to see you there xx there is a 5% off offer on as well at the moment - even more of a reason to join in.

Multiple challenge card

Good Afternoon ladies I hope you are all well, thank you for visiting my blog today :) I made this card last night even though on the way home I had promised myself I would have the night off lol.  I really wanted to ink up my new Whiff of Joy image -  new to me anyway I bought it second hand.

I used the sketch on Whiff of Joy which is shown below.

I cant remember who the papers are by, I dont use these ones much as they have quite large detailing but I think they looked okay for this card. The image is coloured with copics, I actually coloured her twice and popped her up on 3d Foam Squares to make her Pop a little.

The flowers and brads are from Papermania and the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from a new stamp set which i received recently. I really enjoyed colouring this image, probably helped that I was testing out some of my new copic combinations too :)

Here is a side view to show you the dimension

And here is a close up of the image

I hope you like it xx
