You're leaving to have a baby - card for a lady at work

Good evening ladies I hope you are all well this evening. I have been busy today making this card for a lady at work who is leaving to have a baby. I was asked to make a card with plenty of room for people to write messages. I don't really like making big cards as I think they don't always look nice, so I decided to use two blank cards and put them together. Hopefully you will see what I mean below.

I followed the sketch on Friday Sketchers this week which is shown below;

I have used Bloom and grow papers by My Minds Eye. I love these so much my friend Fi got them for me for Christmas I am going to have to get some more I have been trying to make them last but I am almost out now :(
I bought the cardstock I mounted the papers on to from Sir Stampalot in Peterborough. They have great packs of different colour cardstock I am soooooo getting some more when I go back in June. Actually I have a big list of things I need but Alas the bank balance doesn't accept my list, will have to put a birthday list together :)

Any how you are here to see my card not read my waffling so here it is

I have used an image from Mo Manning, I Love this image it is perfect for this type of card and was the only one like it I could find. I added in the sentiment in Word and printed it out on the copic card I bought from Sir Stampalot on my last visit. I can't reccommend it enough - for those of you in the UK I really reccommend you get this and give it a go.
The charm was in my stash but I am not sure where I bought it from. and the raffia lace was bought from Quixotic Paperie. The ribbon is from Ebay. I made the swirl using some little nail art gems I also bought on ebay for about £1.99 including P&P I coloured a few of them to match the colour in the top. This was also a requirement on Suzanne Deans Copic challenge.

Here is another view of the image (these pictures were taken before I coloured the gems)

Here is a close up of the image. I colured this using my Copics. I usually shade around the edge of my images using C1 but thought I would try something a little different this time. I had seen a dotty background before on a few cards but had never tried it. I found a tutorial on Chrissies art and design blog. I will find the link and put it on here ASAP.

I am entering this card in to the following challenges;

Crafty Angels - One for the girls
By the cute and girly - Celebrations
Inky Impressions - Summer ( I have used summery colours)
La La Land - Anything goes
Nutshells - Mothers day or something for a mother
Dare You to digi stamp - Anything goes
Stamp Something - Celebrate
Colour me creative classroom - Summer themed, coloured with copics, embellishment coloured with copics

Also before I forget please scroll down to see the stamps I have for sale (or to swap) and don't forget I also have a blog candy running which is pinned to the top of my blog.
