A Thank you card

Good Afternoon Ladies. I hope you are all well. I had my last day at work today, I am moving on to another company starting Tuesday. I made this thank you card for some of the ladies at work who took me out for lunch yesterday and got me some flowers and a sweetie jar for my new desk :) I will be making another one for the whole company this weekend.
I really love this image it is the only one I have of it though as I got it in a swap. - I do actually have a request but will post that at the bottom of this post :)

I made this card using last weeks Magnolia sketch and am entering it in to this weeks challenge I hope you like it;

I am being a but rubbish and can't for the life of me remember the name of the papers it is on the tip of my tounge but just can't get it sorry.
The image is of course a magnolia image which I have coloured with copics and highlighted with my inkassentials highlighter pen. I have cut out and raised tilda using 3d foam squares. Before i did this though i did the dotty effect on the paper below outlining tilda. I really like this effect i saw it on Chrissies art and design. The little pearls at the top were a gift with an order from the quixotic paperie and the ribbon is from my stash.

Here is a close up of my image

I am entering this card in to the following challenges;

Just Magnolia - Hot and spicy
Inky Impressions - I have chosen flowers and circles
Nutshells - Polka dots or stripes
Charizma cards - going round in circles

Ok my request is this - for my birthday I am hoping to get some money to be able to take Suzanne Deans online Copic class and she has used quite a few stamps which I don't have. The digi ones I can buy but I can't afford them all along with the copics so I was wondering if anyone had any they could stamp some out for me? I would be more than happy to stamp some of mine out for you in return. The ones I need are;

Magnolia Stamps : "Christmas Morning Tilda", "wood fence", "tree", "Tilda Witch", "Tilda with Birdcage", "strawberry"

Lockhart Stamp Co. "Lighthouse", "Apples in Chintz Bowl"

SCACD Stamps: "Aurora with Cake", "Susan", "Heartstrings"

Verve Stamps "Beautiful You"

CC Designs "Itzie Inkies--Summertime Fun"

Whipper Snapper "Hugs for Ike"

The Greeting Farm "Miss Anya Collection"

I would love it if anyone could help - my email is on the side of my blog so if you let me know I can send you my address and get yours so I can send some images in return xx

The brads in the corner are papermania and the gems used to be clear but I coloured them with my copics to match the image. The button used to be white but I also coloured that with my copics to match the image and then coated it with stickles glitter to make it all sparkly. The beautiful image is called 'beautiful Queen' and can be found here.

My entry to the Whiff of Joy Guest designer challenge

I have stayed up until midnight to finish this card especially for the Whiff of joy guest designer challenge. I started the card this morning but had to leave it as we went to our friends house for a BBQ today. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time .

I have created this card using last weeks sketch from Friday sketchers. I really enjoyed this one and can see me using it again. The image is of course from Whiff of Joy. I have coloured her with copic markers and use a highlighter to add in - well some highlights.

The challenge was to make a card using a Whiff of Joy image using the colours Red, Orange and one other. We were aloud to use a neutral colour also. I have used green as my extra colour. The pale pale yellow is the neutral colour which has been used to mount my papers with. It actually looks darker in the picture but then again with it being so late the colours all look slightly different as it isn't the best light.

Here is the card

Sorry for the poor picture quality.
The papers are from the bloom and grow collection I love these they are gorgeous. The raffia lace is from quixotic paperie and the orange ribbon I bought on ebay. The little butterflys were punched out using a punch I borrowed from my friend Fi today isn't it cute.

Here is a close up of the image

I hope you like my card, fingers crossed it will be good enough to win me a place on the design team. It is a team I have always wanted the chance to be on. I entered once before but didn't get through so I thought I would wait until I had improved a little before I entered again. The competition closes tommorrow so I am just in time :)
Have a great Sunday whatever you are up to - I am going for a run in the morning to train for the race for life and will be crafting in the afternoon whoooppeeeee :)

The letters are stickers from my basic grey cupcake collection. The buttons are actually spares that came with some clothes i bought at primark :)

You're leaving to have a baby - card for a lady at work

Good evening ladies I hope you are all well this evening. I have been busy today making this card for a lady at work who is leaving to have a baby. I was asked to make a card with plenty of room for people to write messages. I don't really like making big cards as I think they don't always look nice, so I decided to use two blank cards and put them together. Hopefully you will see what I mean below.

I followed the sketch on Friday Sketchers this week which is shown below;

I have used Bloom and grow papers by My Minds Eye. I love these so much my friend Fi got them for me for Christmas I am going to have to get some more I have been trying to make them last but I am almost out now :(
I bought the cardstock I mounted the papers on to from Sir Stampalot in Peterborough. They have great packs of different colour cardstock I am soooooo getting some more when I go back in June. Actually I have a big list of things I need but Alas the bank balance doesn't accept my list, will have to put a birthday list together :)

Any how you are here to see my card not read my waffling so here it is

I have used an image from Mo Manning, I Love this image it is perfect for this type of card and was the only one like it I could find. I added in the sentiment in Word and printed it out on the copic card I bought from Sir Stampalot on my last visit. I can't reccommend it enough - for those of you in the UK I really reccommend you get this and give it a go.
The charm was in my stash but I am not sure where I bought it from. and the raffia lace was bought from Quixotic Paperie. The ribbon is from Ebay. I made the swirl using some little nail art gems I also bought on ebay for about £1.99 including P&P I coloured a few of them to match the colour in the top. This was also a requirement on Suzanne Deans Copic challenge.

Here is another view of the image (these pictures were taken before I coloured the gems)

Here is a close up of the image. I colured this using my Copics. I usually shade around the edge of my images using C1 but thought I would try something a little different this time. I had seen a dotty background before on a few cards but had never tried it. I found a tutorial on Chrissies art and design blog. I will find the link and put it on here ASAP.

I am entering this card in to the following challenges;

Crafty Angels - One for the girls
By the cute and girly - Celebrations
Inky Impressions - Summer ( I have used summery colours)
La La Land - Anything goes
Nutshells - Mothers day or something for a mother
Dare You to digi stamp - Anything goes
Stamp Something - Celebrate
Colour me creative classroom - Summer themed, coloured with copics, embellishment coloured with copics

Also before I forget please scroll down to see the stamps I have for sale (or to swap) and don't forget I also have a blog candy running which is pinned to the top of my blog.

I am selling some stamps

Good Afternoon ladies I hope you are all well today.

I am selling some of my stamps to make way for some more - I would be happy to do a stamp swap if anyone has any that they think they would like to swap please let me know.

I have the following stamps;

I would like £5.00 For this one, it is un opened and as never been used so in PERFECT condition

This is Lola with flowers from Sugar Nellie I would like £3.00 for this one as you can see she has been used but is still in brilliant condition and I have mounted her on to EZ mount foam

This is Lily - My little friend from Rachelle anne miller - I have hardly used this one and would like £3.50 for this one

This is Hamish with a Wooly jumper from Sugar Nellie. Again this one has been hardly used and I have mounted him on to Ez Mount foam. I would like £3.50 for this one

This is Birthday Buzzard from High Hopes. I have used this stamp maybe 3 times at the most. I would like £3.50 for this one.

This is the Woodware peeking over collection - some of the stamps have never been used and the ones that have been used have only been stamped once. I would like £6.00 for this set.

As these would not fit in to a standard letter I beleive they would have to be sent as a packet which is why I will need to charge £0.70 for postage. I will of course reduce this if you buy more than one stamp.

If I don't get any interest within the next week or so I will start posting these on ebay, just wanted to give you guys a shot first. Remember if you have any stamps you would like to swap I am happy to do that. I am looking for Magnolia, greeting farm etc

A bithday Card

Good Evening ladies I hope you are all well today. I have had a wonderful weekend. Me and my husband went out for our friends birthday last night, we all dressed as mimes :) I will put a picture at the bottom of this post to show you - it was so much fun doing all the make up and such a laugh.

Ok so here is a birthday card I made for my stash, I am trying to get a few ready made so that when I start making my brothers wedding invitations I have some cards ready in case I need them as the invitations are going to take a lot of my time.

The papers are from the 'Bloom and grow' collection and I just LOVE them think I am going to have to buy some more of these very soon. The pearl is from Quixotic paperie. I ave never used one of these in a card before, I bought them ages ago because they looked pretty and then panicked because I had absolouly no idea what to do with them. I am going to a card class on the 04th June with Brenda at Sir Stamplaot so I am hoping to take these with me and get some advice :D big cheesy grin.
Here is another view of the card, I always decorate the inside to some extent;

The image is coloured with copics as always :) the sentiment is stamped and then punched out. I really need to get some new punches though because i bought some completley the wrong flippin size so I can't use them together :(

Anyhow I am entering this card in to the following challenges;

A stationery box for my mum

Hi  ladies I trust you are all well this Evening. I have something other than a card to show you today. I made this stationery box to give to my mum on her birthday (it isn't actually until December but it is always good to be ready). I used a template from Lauren Meader, I have made this box a few times now but I think this is my favourite version of it.

I have used one of the twisted tea party digis - creepy cake from the Greeting farm for this box. The papers are digital papers which can be found HERE I used some ribbon from my stash to thread through the Raffia lace which I bought over on Quixotic Paperie a while back.

 I have coloured the image using copic markers I have listed these below

Hair - YG06, YG23, YG03
Cake - BG23, BG49, BG09, G17, G07, G05, W3, W5, W7
Bows - R59, R49
Little cake bases - E37, E35, E33
Teacup - C3, C5, C7

Here are some other views of my little stationery box

I used a small square of velcro to close the box with. As you can see I printed out the creepy cake image 4 times but smaller (thats the beaut of digital images you can make them in to whatever size you want) coloured them the exact same way and used them as dividers for the inside. The actual card I used to make the box are from the forever friends "all wrapped up" collection which i bought last christmas.

 I am entering this in to the following challenges

Simon says stamp - Birthdays/ celebrations
The pink elephant - Mommy I love you
Stamptacular Sunday challenges - A celebration for mums (we already had mothers day over in the UK so hopefully this still counts as the image is female and this is a gift for my mums birthday)
By the cute and Girly - Celebrations

Also please don't forget I have a blog candy at the top of my blog - please do enter I have a greeting farm stamp and a Dolly mama stamp in there :)

Karens Doodles challenge 9 - Anything but a card

Good Morning ladies. I hope you are all well - halfway through the week already :) I do love bank holidays they make the week shorter :) Ok so it is time for another challenge over on Karens Doodles, this week we are asking you to make 'anything but a card', it can be a bookmark, an altered item, a candle, anything so long as it isn't a card.
I have made another stamped image folder but a different type this time. I really should make them all the same type so they are easier to store. I think I will make more like this one actually as it is a nice size and fits perfectly in to my bookcase, plus you can also write on the spine so if you do store them on their sides you will be easly able to see which folder holds what - I plan on making them for different stamp companies - this one for example will be for Karens Doodles.

I used basic grey cardstock to make this box along with letters from my basic greys 12x12 cupcake collection pack. The ribbon is from my stash.
The image is called 'Amanda Panda' and has been coloured with copics.
 This is a side view of my image holder

Please remember that you do need to use a Karens Doodles image to enter. You can enter your creation in to as many challenges as you like.

The prizes on offer are brilliant - and it isn't only the person who comes first that wins something either so what are you waiting for hop on over to the challenge blog HERE and get crafting.

I can't wait to visit you all this week and see what you have come up with.

I am entering this in to the following challenges (I couldn't post these earlier as I pre prepared this post)

One stop crafts - Anything but
Incy Wincy Designs - Anything goes

I did it again

I made a card using the sketch saturday sketch, go to load it this morning and then realise it is Saturday and the newest one has now been posted :( stupid me lol.
Well I have had this stamp for a long while now but this is the first time I ave used it, don't you just love her? she is one of the gorgeous stamps from Kraftin Kimmie, I can't wait to get some of her newer images I LOVE them.

Here is my card

I coloured the Image with Copic markers and used my new pen to add in the highlights. I used a different type of card to stamp on this time. I recently made a trip to Sir Stampalot in Peterborough and their residen Copics demonstrator was there, she recommended I give this card a try and I can tell you for sure I will now be using nothing else it is absoloutly brillint, no bleeding of colours at all it is brilliant and made colouring the image much more enjoyable and the colours were actually easier to blend. Whats great too is that I can also put i through my printer for my Digi images :) brilliant. If you want to give it a go hop along to their website here and get some for yourself :) They also have brilliant prices on copic markers.
I used basic gray papers for this card mounted with plain red cardstock that I also bought at sir stampalot. The sentiment is by papermania.

I am entering this card in to the following challenges;

My time to craft - Ruby ruby ruby - use red
Creative Belli challenges - Birthday & use something old from your stash - the little red stars I have used I have had ever since I started crafting and have never once used them - think they look good with this though :)

Thank you for visiting me today. Just a little heads up I will have a blog candy coming soon either today or tommorrow. This is in aid of my up coming blogaversary and will also be to celebrate the fact that I am running the race for life this year for the first time EVER. So keep your eyes peeled and be sure to enter as there are some exciting goodies for grabs.
