Good Afternoon Ladies, I hope you have all had a wonderful Saturday, we had my brother and his fiancee over this afternoon which was nice. Just need to get on with some cards now :) This is my second post for today so be sur to pop down and see my other one :)  I made this card last night to give to our Friends Tim and Michelle for their first wedding anniversary. We met them in Egypt last year when we were on honeymoon, they were also on their honeymoon. We are going back to the same place with them this year on the 26th March to celebrate both of our first wedding anniversarys, can't wait.
I have primarily made this card to enter in to the Totally Stampelicious guest designer challenge. I did however follow the sketch on Truly scrumptious which is shown below;

I used an image from the greeting farm that I received in a swap a while ago, isn't it beautiful. I coloured the image with copics to match the colours that Tim and Michelle wore on their wedding day,

The papers are basic grays cupcake collection mounted on to some plain blue paper. The ribbon i bought from Malaysia on Ebay. and the flowers were in my stash :) think I am going to have to make a box envelope for this one.

The image is from Doodle Palace and has been coloured with copic markers, I have listed the colours below ( I am trying to remember each time but have been a bit rubbish recently).

I bought the papers at Sir Stamplaot they are by Kaisercraft and are double sided. The ribbon is from Quixotic paperie once again.

Mothers day gifts

Good Evening Ladies I hope you are all well. Sorry I have been so bad at visiting everyones blogs revently, I have started in a new position at work and have been really busy so haven't had much time to log on.
I wanted to show you these two boxes I made for my mum and Karls mum for mothers day, I made some white chocolate and cranberry fudge to put in them and also added some roses chocolates :)

This is the first one, they were both made using the 'for keep sake' box by Lauren Meader, I love her templates they are so easy to work with and go so well with the score pal too. The papers were given to me by a friend aren't they beautiful. I won the flowers on the card in a blog candy and the other ones are from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.

This is the second box, using the same paper just a slightly different colour. I have shown this one with the card inside the box. I made it to fit just inside the front window. The image below shows the other side of the box. You can see the fudge and chocolates inside, I put these inside a clear bag (the ones you use to put cards in).

I am entering these in to the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which has a theme of 'anything goes' and also the Cupcake craft challenge where the them is Flower power.

I hope all of the mothers reading this have a wonderful mothers day tommorrow xx hugs to you all xx

A New card for you :)

Good Morning Ladies, I hope you are all well. I have a new card to show you today that I am particularly pleased with, you know when you have finished a card and you like it so much you don't want to give it away, well this was one of those for me. I used greens which is very 'out of the box' for me as I usually only use them for grass. I followed the sketch on 'Sunday Sketch and Stamp' this week which is shown below.

To make this card I used free digital papers which I printed on a laser printer as this gives a better wuality print in my mind. The image is one of the new 'twisted tea party' line from the Greeting farm. isn't she just brilliant, I really enjoyed colouring her last night, my happiness didn't even dicapate when i realised I had coloured her eye in using E00, i simply used my clear blender to remove the colour in that area :)

I used some black Raffia lace which I bough once again from the Quicotic paperie with super fast delivery. The lime green ribbon was bought on Ebay as part of a bundle and i think this is the first time I have used it but it goes so well. I coloured my image with copics but stupidly forgot to write the colours down, I will have a look tonight and add it on then.
The sentiment is a stamp from my woodware sentiments set.

I am entering this card in to the following challenges;

Cupcake craft Challenge - Round and round
Creative Card Crew - Celebrations
The pink elephant - Add Green to your colour combo
Cute card Thursday - Ribbon tastic
Copic creations - A wee bit 'o' green
